The Gulf Superyacht Summit 2022

This 2-day annual event on the 9th -10th November 2022, run by Superyacht Times, aims to inform, assist and advise yachting clients and related interested parties, bringing people together as the Gulf continues to develop as a superyacht winter destination.

The Gulf region is of growing importance to the superyacht industry. Dubai has some of the biggest marina developments in the world and the annual Formula 1 event in Abu Dhabi attracts a large crowd of superyachts.

A growing number of yachts are using the UAE as a hub from where they travel further east into the Indian Ocean and beyond, to destinations like the Seychelles, Maldives, Indonesia and Thailand, and SE Asia.

Not only is the region establishing itself as a superyacht hub, but Dubai aims to become the crypto capital of the world. With a lot of new wealth being created in this market sector, the region will also be of growing importance to yacht builders and brokers looking to engage with new clients.

Programme of Events

Follow this link to see the 2-day programme, which has talks & seminars on the Gulf Region on Day One, and a focus on new technologies & the future for Day Two. The programme offers plenty of time for networking, with a special Gala Dinner in the evening of 10th November.

The Gulf Superyacht Summit precedes the SailGp Dubai Sail Grand Prix on the 12-13th November 2022, with a 'Superyacht Summit delegate special', a unique opportunity to have a look behind the scenes at SailGP!

There is also a talk by the SailGP Team on Day Two, highlighting some of the cool and innovative things they are doing, and what the superyacht industry can learn from it.

If all this isn't enough, the Summit has arranged preferential rates to stay onboard the historic gem Queen Elizabeth 2, the only floating hotel in Dubai, where the Superyacht Summit is held.

For those yachts visiting the UAE and Dubai in the coming months, we highly recommend
