Overview

Tauri is a freelance photographer based in Darwin with a background in the Royal Australian Navy who has served at sea in Guided Missile Destroyers, Anzac Class frigates, The VIP Boat Sqdn Sydney Harbour, Fremantle Class Patrol Boats and Armidale Class patrol boats, and also has had previous aviation experience with flying for Australian Customs as an Airborne Electronic Aerial Surveillance operator in Dash – 8 Turboprop Aircraft and more recently is involved with VTS and Harbour Control in Darwin Port. 

All the while he has been honing his photography skills for the last 25 years and now specialises in Maritime and Aviation Photography. He is very comfortable shooting out of helicopters, ships at sea and of course land based Photography day and night and has also added drone Photography to his skills.
