Growing up on the south shore of Long Island, Sam’s love of the ocean began at an early age.  Her desire to be outside and near the ocean led Sam to work on charter fishing boats throughout her college years, then after graduating with a degree in Ceramics and Art Education, Sam decided to get into yachting and see the world! 

Sam joined M/Y Intuition as a stewardess in Sag Harbor, New York and headed straight to Antigua.
After two Caribbean seasons, she moved to Rhode Island where she currently lives with her daughters and partner. 

Her knowledge of all aspects of the yachting industry has grown tremendously while working on various boats throughout the years, as an agent with BWA New England and for several years at Newport Shipyard.
Sam could not be better equipped to join the Superyacht Services Guide team as a research author for the North America region.

Personable Sam loves to travel and enjoys meeting with captains and crew to interview and get feedback on recommended services, helping develop the USA guide.
