Overview

MSOS provides comprehensive, worldwide medical support in the form of Offshore MCA Medical Kits, 24/7 Telemedical Support and Specialist Training for clients across the world’s oceans. These clients range from superyachts, offshore yacht races and private vessels cruising around the world. The company headquarters are based in Southampton, UK and the company also have bases in Palma, Antibes & Fort Lauderdale. 

MSOS has unrivalled experience delivering Telemedical Support through a team of UK-based Doctors, often under challenging circumstances in the remotest areas of the world.
Through their Themis Telemedical Communication Platform (TCP), a case management system that provides the capability for recording all medical information of an incident, including measuring vital signs in real-time, transmitting the information to an onshore Control Room, all information regarding a casualty, including physiological parameters and medical background, is provided to the advising Doctor.
The Themis TCP is completely integral to telemedical support offshore but can equally be used in remote locations on land, and on aircraft. The only requirement for usual operation is internet access, although it can operate independently offline.

Over the past thirty years, MSOS have supported iconic yacht races such as the Whitbread, Volvo Ocean Race and Global Challenge. MSOS provide comprehensive medical support, comprising medical kits, medical briefings and 24/7 medical support.

MSOS also offer bespoke training packages including tailored onboard courses at a location and time suitable to the Captain & crew.
