Clearvac Engineering Asia appoints new General Manager
Clearvac Engineering Asia is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Scott Duncanson as their new General Manager. Following another year of growth, they are confident that Scott will lead the team effectively as they aim for further expansion in Southeast Asia.
Scott moved to Thailand in 1991 after completing his shipwright studies in Adelaide, Australia. He continued in the footsteps of his father, John Duncanson, a well-known yacht designer, by joining a team that built commercial and military ships for the Thai Navy in Chonburi. He also served as an instructor in computer-aided design at a technical college in Laem Chabang.

In 1999, Scott relocated to Phuket and has since gained over 20 years of experience in Corporate General Management across various industries. He also founded "Seahorse Sailing Phuket," a sailing school. Scott’s achievements in competitive sailing include four victories at the Phuket King's Cup in various classes, and his long service as Commodore of the Phuket Yacht Club, where he continues as Vice Commodore.
Clearvac Engineering Asia are looking forward to the contributions Scott will make to the company. His expertise will be instrumental as they expand into the competitive sailing community in Southeast Asia and enhance their corporate management procedures in their offices in Phuket, Bangkok, and Singapore.
